Dolleymores are pleased to announce that Dan Tough has joined the firm as a patent attorney. Dan brings experience of working in-house in both multinational and start/scale-up businesses, as well as prior experience working in private practice. With a background in mechanical engineering, Dan will support our existing patent team in a wide range of patent and design work. Dan is a chartered UK and European patent attorney who has previously worked in the aeronautical, automotive, medical technology and packaging sectors. Having worked across the full life cycle of patent applications, from invention harvesting and third-party monitoring, through to drafting and prosecuting patent applications, and on to opposition and due diligence exercises, Dan has a particular interest in IP strategy and portfolio management.
