I started at Dolleymores in 1989 and became a partner in 1992. I specialize in patent application and prosecution in the fields of physics, electronics, optics, computing, and telecommunications.
After graduating with a degree in physics, I gained experience in private practice and in the dedicated patent department of a major UK Defence and Electronics Company. I qualified as a Chartered Patent Attorney in 1987 and as a European Patent Attorney in 1988, I’m also a Registered Trade Mark Attorney. With this technical background, I’m well-equipped to recommend commercially focused IP solutions for Dolleymores’ clients, blending technical detail with a broad understanding of their business needs.
When I’m not at my desk, I enjoy treading the boards, taking on major roles in local community drama productions and occasionally directing.
