Dolleymores is proud to be a boutique firm with the expertise to handle every IP protection matter, while offering a hands-on, personalised service. We have a rich history and have been recognised as expert trade mark and patent attorneys since our founding in 1969.
Our history
The firm's life began as Saunders & Dolleymore with offices in the Station Parade by Moor Park tube station. A partnership of patent and trade mark attorneys, founder Harry Saunders worked with two part-time technical assistants, two part-time secretaries and a former post-mistress, who performed general administrative tasks.
Saunders & Dolleymore quickly established a reputation for patent and trade mark expertise, attracting clients in the UK, and from overseas.
Building on a specialist chemical knowledge, the firm sought out the best patent and trade mark attorneys in other key business sectors to enhance its offering and depth of knowledge. With this consistent growth, came a move to the firm's Watford premises.
We became simply Dolleymores in 2016, and have continued to focus on our clients, expanding and enhancing our expertise, while simultaneously still retaining our highly personalised service we're known for.
